FigureOwl exists to help people complete practical tasks with clear, dependable tools. This policy explains how we decide what to publish and how we check it.
Tool standards
Every published tool must solve a distinct user problem, work on mobile and desktop, explain its inputs and limits, and pass a repeatable functional test. Browser-based file tools state which formats and size limits they support. Calculators publish their assumptions and formulas.
Research and writing
We study what people are trying to accomplish, consult primary documentation where possible, and write original instructions for the FigureOwl workflow. We do not copy another publisher’s articles or publish pages merely to repeat a keyword. Automated systems may assist with research, structure or checks, but a page is published only after its claims, links and on-page experience are reviewed.
Updates and corrections
Pages show an updated date. We revisit tools when browsers, libraries or relevant guidance change. If you find an error, send the URL and details through our contact page; we will investigate and correct confirmed issues.
Commercial independence
Advertising or affiliate relationships do not change a tool’s output. Any affiliate relationship is disclosed, and partners do not receive favorable editorial treatment in exchange for payment.
