Extract selected pages from a PDF
The FigureOwl PDF splitter lets you turn one document into smaller files. A comma separates each output: entering 1-3, 4-6 creates two PDFs, while 2, 5, 9 creates three one-page PDFs. A single range downloads directly as a PDF; multiple outputs are bundled in a ZIP.
How to split a PDF
- Choose the PDF you want to divide.
- Enter pages or ranges using the page numbers in the original file.
- Select Split PDF and save the result.
Page numbers must be positive, remain within the document, and run from the lower number to the higher number. For example, use 7-10 rather than 10-7.
Your document remains private
Splitting happens locally in your browser. The selected file is not uploaded to FigureOwl or retained after you close the page. Browser processing also means performance depends on your device and available memory.
Common ways to use extracted pages
Separate a contract appendix, send only the relevant pages of a report, divide a scan by section, or save one invoice from a larger statement. Always verify the downloaded files before deleting the original PDF.
